I would have put no stars, I ordered a cake which arrived 2 hours late ( even though I live 10mins away) and everything was spelt wrong and was not straight although the cake looked nice it was spoilt with terrible righting I would stay clear of this place terrible experience

Visited with my wife during a house hunting trip. The shop was empty but we went in for a coffee and were instantly tempted to choose a few of the temptations on the counter and display shelves.
We had freshly made baclava and a chocolate eclaire to eat with the coffee. Both were amazingly good.
We also bought a 10" cake to take home. All the large cakes looked like works of art but I had some reservations as I don't usually like sponge cakes decorated with thick creamy layers and fresh fruit. I have been disappointed too many times.
I need not have worried - the cake itself was unbelievably light and truly delicious.
The "cream" too (I think it was some kind of mascaloni) was just right. The fresh fruit on top (strawberries, pineapple,kiwi etc) tasted as "fresh as new".
I just do not understand why we were the only customers. If it was in Medway (where we live) people would be queueing outside to get in. We have nothing of this quality in our area. If we don't buy a house in the area we will make the 80 mile return journey just to re-visit this cake shop. STRAIGHT FIVE STARS.
