Horrendous !!
Bought a balloon from here for a gift. I collected the balloon a day earlier than needed due to them being closed on the Sunday. Less than 24 hours later after taken such good care of the balloon according to their instructions the top balloon started to deflate for a £40 this is unacceptable. After calling them to inform them they told me I had to make another 40 min journey back to the shop to Bring the balloon back. Talking to the manager Angela she was helpful at first and informed me that if they found it was an environmental issue they wouldn’t be able to give me a refund but would issue me with a credit note. After arriving at the store to bring back the balloon they proceeded to say it was our fault the balloon has a little hole in and said I’m unable to help you but I can offer you 10% of your next purchase. I found it insulting to be accused of it being my fault when we followed there instructions so carefully. Both members of Staff were so rude and had no sense of compassion as to the fact they told me I would get a store credit over the phone. I wasted all this petrol and time bringing back a balloon I believe they were never going to help me in the first place. There was no sense of customer service. I think it’s a disgrace to pay £40 for a balloon that just deflated this is a disgrace and then to have been greeted with such a rude individual made this deeply upsetting. I believe if you look after your customers they look after you. You’ve created no respect what’s so ever and I believe the owner should rethink their approach to customer service as I Will be, informing as many people as I can of this experience. Judging by the other reviews I’ve seen where similar thing has happened to them is just unacceptable.
I’m deeply disappointed by this experience and urge people not to use this shop!!

I ordered some balloons for my Son's 18th just over 2 weeks ago now. Placed the order and paid over the phone which was super easy, the girl seemed to know exactly what it was that I was after, which was a massive help, as unfortunately I don't know much about balloons!!
I arrived a little earlier than arranged, but the balloons were ready for me and looked FANTASTIC!!!! Exactly what I'd asked for and they have lasted for ages. the normal rubber type balloons lasted well over a week and the foil ones are still floating to this day.
Would strongly recommend this shop to anyone needing not just balloons but all the other bits and bobs for a party. i got a banner and a few other bits when i picked up my balloons-saved me running around all day! Very friendly and helpful staff too!

Been using The Balloon Shop since they moved to Southgate and every time i have had nothing but exceptionally helpful staff always going over and beyond to make me happy.
Never had a problem with them and balloons are always fully inflated when i leave the shop.
I have had a verity of balloons and depending which ones i order they last anything from a week to a month.
Highly recommended and even the delivery service is spot on.

I can't believe you have moved to southgate. i have been coming to you for nearly 30 years, and counting. I think the location you have now is much better and you have expanded your range which is nice but you are now further from me :( lol. It's nice to see that the whole operation including the staff which have not changed. Not sure if i am allowed to mention the staff members names but they are and have always been excellent. Your shop is the best i have been to, i even like the new website you have made so i can just order my balloons and pick them up when it's time.

I went to the balloon shop which by the way has moved to Southgate, took me a while to track them down until i found their website which clearly states that they have moved. Oh well i have found it now. I found their customer service exceptional. I went into the shop to order and the staff were very helpful in fact they went above and beyond to help me decide what balloons would suit my occasion best. I then placed my order and awaited the weekend to collect my order. I stopped in the alley to the side of the building and decided to give them a call as i ordered quite a bit and was worried it would not all fit into my little VW Golf. The staff brought out my order to me and even helped me pack it into my car!!!! A+ service. All of my guests commented on how amazing the balloons were. I have been to many balloon shops and it just doesn't compare, the price is very reasonable, the service is exceptional and the overall product is brilliant.
WILL USE AGAIN BRILLIANT!!!!

I have used this shop for many years. I rang to order some balloons for a family occasion and paid for the order over the phone. They said I could collect within half an hour so I went to the shop on baker st but found it had closed down. I rang the number and the shop assistant told me they had moved to southgate which they had not mentioned when I had placed the order! I was very annoyed as I had limited time and it was rush hour traffic. When I got to southgate the parking was impossible. When I found the shop I parked on a double yellow outside the shop and rang the shop and asked them to bring the balloons outside. They did not. I went into the shop and the balloons were not ready even though it was now an hour after when they said to collect. They then told me they didn't have all the balloons in stock that I'd ordered. I was livid by now as I had driven through rush hour and was now late for an Appointment. It had now become clear that the original balloon shop in enfield has closed down and they have sold their number to this balloon shop in southgate - the staff are not the same. They have kept the baker st details on google so customers will make the same mistake as me. I will not use again!
